Ron Mueck in Ottawa

This week-end, I've especially been to Ottawa to see Ron Mueck's exhibition at Musée des Beau-Arts. I knew a little about Mueck before this exhibition, mostly thru an email waving along showing a couple of his hyperealistics sculptures. A quick glance on google informed me this Australian native has his studio in London and used to work for Jim Henson's "Muppets show". But how realistic could hyperealistic be ?
Eh...definitely realistic! Almost all the models are nudes, probably to enhance again the realism. Everything is here: hairs, pimples, spots, wrinkles, everything. You may wonder how such a realism is possible; does he use any computer stuff, any modeling trick? Not at all, buddy. Everything is done the classic way, with clay... and a huge amount of talent.
